Job Description:

*J&D Ultracare is seeking a full-time Nurse Educator to join our team! **Monday - Friday, in-person, 8:30am - 4pm. *At J&D Ultracare, we are committed to providing the highest quality of care to our families, while offering unwavering support to our nurses. The Nurse Educator will play an integral role in preparing our field staff, through skills training and education, to placement in the field!*Qualifications: ** Must be a licensed Registered Nurse* 5 years' experience as a professional nurse, with one year administrative/supervisory experience in community health, and/or home health care*Responsibilities: ** Assess field staff competence in accordance with approved nursing standards of care to determine appropriate clinical placement* Create an individualized plan of education in accordance with the level of competency of nurse to include, but not limited to, classes, 1:1 skills lab, and on-site orientations* Support Operations Manager in field staff recruitment, retention, and engagement* Responsible for coordinating all classes, in-service to include BLS and Vent training* Develop and teach all in-services/continuing education classes based on Agency needs, including the Agency's Extensive Orientation Program (EOP) for all new grads* Direct and provide training of all staff on use of Electronic Medical Records* Conduct all staff screening and interviews in conjunction with HR Coordinator* High level interpersonal skills to give constructive feedback and serve as trusted resource* Provide field-based orientations as needed* Maintain awareness of current clinical trends* Serve as a clinical resource for all new applicants during the onboarding and orientation process* Perform periodic review of and keep current all educational materials* Promote staff compliance with OSHA regulations, infection control practices and privacy policies* Promote the Missions and Objectives of the agencyJob Type: Full-timePay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per yearBenefits:* 401(k)* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Life insurance* Paid sick time* Paid time off* Vision insuranceMedical specialties:* Home HealthSchedule:* Monday to FridayExperience:* Home Care: 1 year (Preferred)License/Certification:* RN Nursing License (Required)Ability to Commute:* Suffern, NY 10901 (Required)Work Location: In personby Jobble
