CNAs assist residents with activities of daily living, provide emotional support, and contribute to a positive and nurturing environment. The CNA reports to the RN Supervisor or Charge Nurse and collaborates with other healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of residents.NOW HIRING: (CNA) CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANTKey Responsibilities:Patient Care: - Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. - Transfer and assist residents with mobility as needed. - Monitor and report changes in residents' physical and emotional well-being. Vital Signs and Monitoring: Take and record vital signs accurately. - Observe and report any abnormalities or changes in residents' conditions to the nursing staff.Assistance with Medical Procedures: - Assist with medical procedures, as directed by the nursing staff. - Provide support to residents during examinations or treatments. Nutrition and Hydration: - Assist with feeding residents, ensuring proper nutrition and hydration. - Monitor and report any changes in residents' dietary preferences or restrictions. Communication: - Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members. - Document care provided and report any significant information to the nursing staff. Mobility Assistance: - Assist residents with mobility devices and exercises. - Implement fall prevention measures.Emotional Support: - Provide emotional support and companionship to residents. - Encourage socialization and engagement in activities. Safety and Infection Control: - Follow proper safety and infection control procedures. - Maintain a clean and organized environment.Collaboration: - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, therapists, and social workers. - Attend and actively participate in team meetings and training sessions.Resident Advocacy: - Advocate for residents' rights and preferences. - Report any concerns about resident care or well-being to the nursing staff.NOW HIRING: (CNA) CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANTQualifications: - Current certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of New Jersey - High school diploma or equivalent. - CPR certification. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Compassionate and patient-focused approach.
