We're looking for an experienced in house Graphic Designer to support with all upcoming needs for packaging and with additional ability to jump in and help with additional Growth needs (i.e. paid social, email, web). This role will be on the Brand Team, reporting into Head of Brand. This is a full time, in-person/hybrid role (3 days in office p/w on average) based in Tribeca, NYC. As Senior Graphic Designer, you'll:

• Help grow our brand's visual identity to tell the great tale of Magic Spoon and clearly communicate reasons to believe, developing packaging designs for new products, flavor launches and updates to existing packaging with a key focus on maintaining packaging design standards and evolving our visual systems.
• Support ongoing Growth and Retail design needs including paid social, email and web.
• Independently manage projects from conception of packaging designs through release of production files to the printer (including prepress, color matching, etc).
• Partner with Product and Operations team on all product details, dielines, materials, etc.
• Oversee variety of freelancers/agencies including illustrators, print vendors, retouchers, etc as required. Requirements
  • 5+ years graphic design experience including 3+ years packaging design within the CPG space preferred
  • Ability to work within and expand upon existing design systems
  • Strong understanding of packaging regulations, materials, and printing/finishing options with expertise in file/print preparation
  • Curiosity and excitement to tackle problems and find solutions together in a fast-paced startup environment, where processes and mediums can change frequently
  • Proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign) and Figma.
  • A strong portfolio with packaging & digital design experience as well as excellent design sensibilities (eye for color, type hierarchy, layout)
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills -

Magic Spoon intends to offer competitive base pay within the stated range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills, and qualifications. To further compensate and recognize our employees for their work, our total compensation package includes equity and a robust benefits package. The anticipated annual base salary range for this role is $90,000 - $120,000.
