meet these qualifications will not be considered. This contract
position is for two Severe Needs Paraprofessionals working with a
high-intensity, severe needs student population in a school setting
located in Levittown, PA. The role supports students in grades K8
who may exhibit aggressive behaviors, self-injurious behaviors, and
require intensive safety interventions. Candidates must be
comfortable working within a highly structured behavioral
environment and implementing safety protocols. Responsibilities:
Assist in the implementation of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
interventions tailored to students with autism and severe
behavioral needs. Provide one-on-one support and monitor student
safety within the classroom. Collaborate closely with educators and
behavioral specialists to maintain consistency in behavioral plans.
Attend mandatory orientation every other week to ensure updated
practices and team coordination. Maintain detailed documentation of
student progress and behavioral incidents as required.
Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year experience as an ABA
paraprofessional. Proven experience supporting students with autism
and severe behavioral challenges using ABA strategies. Must reside
within 35 minutes of Levittown, PA. Possess at least one of the
following credentials: 48 college credits Associate degree or
higher Child Development Associate (CDA) credential Credential of
Competency If not credentialed at hire, must complete a 7-module
paraprofessional training during onboarding and obtain credential
within 60 days. Additional Requirements: Ability to work
MondayFriday, 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Attend biweekly mandatory
orientations from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Comfortable supporting
students exhibiting aggressive and self-injurious behaviors.
Reliable attendance with a clear plan for commuting. This position
emphasizes a structured, supportive approach in a specialized
school environment serving children with significant needs.
