The ideal candidate will be a blend of a mechanical engineer and application engineer. • Opportunity to grow as the company grows.Job DetailsESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: In addition to those listed in the Summary section above, the following are duties necessary to meet the minimum requirements of the position. Other duties may be assigned:
  • Product customizations per customer requirements or market trends
  • Develop product specifications and performance requirements
  • Utilize CAD tools to design components and finished products
  • Evaluate new materials/new designs/prototype products
  • Manage product data and other related documentation
  • Participate in collaborative cross-functional teams
  • Creation of Bill of Material (BOM), part numbers, and routings
  • Travel 10%MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Technologies
    • 3 years' experience working in a manufacturing environment
    • Creation of 2-D drawings using GD&T standards
    • AS 400 or similar ERP experience a plus
    • Strong SolidWorks and AutoCAD skills
