Senior Electrical Engineer

Contract to direct 6+ months 40 hours weekly

Work Schedule: 4 X 9's M-TH, and -- on Friday

Ideal, Aerospace Experience and work is ON SITE

Specifically, the Sr. Electrical Engineer will be responsible for electronic system circuit design, analyses, fabrication management, test, and hands-on work required to mature hardware into a qualified and producible product. Sr Elec Eng to do schematic design and analysis and asst with placement of routing in boards and documentation of boards. Heavily involved in the release process of documents They need to work well with systems and test and software and mechanical engineering groups. We need someone with ORCAD exp and Allegro exp. It would be nice if they had PADs exp as well. We would like power exp -distribution, design etc. CAS exp would also be great. Digital exp would also be ideal.

Developing a thorough understanding of the customer's requirements. Choosing a design architecture that meets the performance, EMI, reliability, and cost targets. Detailed design and analysis of the electronic control units to be compliant with requirements. Considering and balancing cost, technical, schedule, and risk. Interfacing with the project team and customer(s). Generate/review technical specifications and reports to satisfy internal and external deliverables. Perform breadboard level tests on new development products. Mentor junior level electrical engineers

Role Specific Focuses: Product development Board and CCA level Min/Max Years of Experience: Bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering. 5+ years of experience designing electrical circuits in aerospace.

Industry Experience Required/Alternative Industries to Consider: 5+ years of experience designing electrical circuits in aerospace. Design exp in other industries would also be ok if they have CAS and power supply.
