Job Summary: Diesel Mechanic Position
Diesel Mechanic needed to maintain and repair fleet of school buses, ensuring vehicle readiness and safety, with opportunities for career advancement and competitive compensation.

We are currently hiring a Diesel Mechanic for our shop serving Pine Bush School District.

  About the Diesel Mechanic Position
  As a Diesel Mechanic, you will help maintain and repair our fleet of school buses, ensuring vehicle readiness and safety. Key responsibilities include:
  
  
  • 
    
  • Lead preventative maintenance, safety inspections, and annual DOT maintenance inspections
    
  • Diagnose and perform all phases of vehicle and equipment repair
    
  • Ensure work orders are completed accurately
    
  • Assist with mobile emergency services
    
    
    Diesel Technician Qualifications
    
    • 
      
    • Valid driver's license required; willingness to obtain CDL B while employed
      
    • At least 3 years of automotive or diesel maintenance & repair experience or technical school education
      
    • Possess a mechanic's tool set
      
    • Willingness to participate in the ASE certification program
      
    • Subject to DOT drug testing and physical
