Job Description:
Liro Group, a prominent firm headquartered in Syosset, NY, is
seeking a motivated Junior Structural Engineer to join our dynamic
Engineering & Architecture team. Our projects span across various
sectors, focusing on enhancing urban infrastructure with innovative
engineering, construction management, sustainability, and
technology solutions. As a Junior Structural Engineer, you will be
integral to our project delivery teams, supporting the design and
analysis of structural systems, ensuring safety and efficiency in
our groundbreaking projects. Assist in the structural design and
analysis of building systems using both computer-aided design
software and manual calculations. Support senior engineers in the
preparation of construction documents, including drawings and
specifications. Contribute to the team by checking the accuracy of
plans and reports. Participate in project meetings and provide
updates on project progress to stakeholders. Ensure compliance with
applicable codes, standards, and client requirements. Help in
analyzing survey reports, topographical maps, zoning restrictions,
and client requirements to identify project specifications and
procedures. Proficiency with structural engineering software such
as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar. Strong analytical and mathematical
skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Attention
to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks. Basic
understanding of construction processes, materials, and legal
regulations. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance
Life Insurance 401k EIT (Engineer in Training) certification
preferred. Knowledge of BIM (Building Information Modeling)
software is a plus.
