The Product Manager SP Scienceware is responsible for the planning, development, and execution of marketing initiatives. - Primary focus is to effectively manage your portfolio of scientific products under the SP Bel-Art and SP Wilmad-Labglass brands to generate profitable revenue by increasing sales through successful marketing, using market research, pricing, and product marketing. -This is a Remote Position - East Coast - US. -Will require occasional travel to our Wayne, NJ office.We continue to grow and provide leading edge products to our customers.   • WE LIKE WHAT WE DO! -ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES -include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
    • Assume product ownership and manage the product lifecycle of a diverse portfolio - of laboratory consumables and apparatus used in pharmaceutical/biotech research, healthcare and industry.
    • Develop and communicate product plans and roadmaps aligned with strategic corporate objectives through product ideation, sourcing, collaboratively working with operations & commercial marketing in successful launch of new products and post launch Life cycle management.
    • Drive and monitor product market prices and margins based on market intelligence and optimization for results.
    • Collaborate with sales and commercial marketing to support and develop product positioning, packaging, pricing and merchandising initiatives applicable to primary distribution channels.
    • Drive product adoption through technical marketing support including collaborating, monitoring and leveraging VOC insights. -
    • Track and synthesize market and end user purchasing, technology, competitive and laboratory trends to identify product market opportunities and drive actionable items.
    • Participate in cross functional teams including operations, sales, engineering and sourcing to achieve product objectives aligned with corporate objectives, vision and mission. -ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
      • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and - industry trade shows, reviewing professional publications, and establishing personal - networks.
      • Provide product and technical support to Sales, Channel Partners, and End-users.
      • This position requires 10-20% domestic & international travel. -EDUCATION, CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, and REGISTRATIONS -
        • BS degree in Life Sciences or Chemistry -TALENTS and/or EXPERIENCE -
          • Solid technical background with laboratory experience a plus
          • Working experience in product management
          • Familiarity with product lifecycles
          • Ability to develop product strategies, implement tactics and provide recommendations -
          • Able to prioritize and manage multiple projects
          • Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams -
          • Excellent communication skills
          • Financial acumen
