Job Description:
SUMMARY OF POSITIONPrimary objective of the National Accounts
Manager (NAM) is to Manage mass merchandiser business from
initiating contact with prospective accounts to maintaining and
growing existing business/accounts. The NAM will report directly to
the Senior VP. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS--- Up to 10% of travel can
be expected.--- Work as company liaison with mass market buyers and
directors--- Manage mass merchandising inventory reports.--- Work
with all EDI functions --- Performance Management of
StaffQUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIRMENTS--- Bachelor's degree or
equivalent is preferred with a specialization in marketing
desired.--- Minimum 3 years' experience in working directly with
mass market buyers selling a tangible consumer product.---
Knowledge of corporate computer system and all Microsoft Office
Software--- Prior Knowledge of EDI --- In-Depth understanding of
sales performance metrics. --- Solid experience in sales and
customer service --- Possesses a proven track record for employee
motivation as well as superior organizational skills.--- Must
possess a strong sale acumen.--- Strong verbal and written
skills--- The ability to quickly obtain knowledge about sewing and
the sewing machine industry.--- Comfort in an e-mail intensive
environment --- Understanding of E-Commerce platforms --- Prior
understanding of direct consumer sales a plus. SKILLS--- Ability to
manage internal office staff--- Motivate staff and work with other
departments to obtain company wide objectives.--- Detail
oriented--- Problem solving skills.--- Identify problems, seek and
implement solutions; ability to see big picture through small
details.--- Excellent delegation skills --- MS Office PERSONAL

RESPONSIBILITIES--- Must motivate staff to achieve or exceed
assigned sales budgets for mass market business--- A close working
relationship with all company departments is a must.---
Pre-authorize any hours worked beyond those regularly scheduled for
all non-exempt direct reports.--- Responsible for all
communications with Janome Japan related to Mass business---
Liaison between Mass and Marketing to coordinate mass needed
responsibilities related to Marketing.--- Coordinate all
parts/notions/accessory related matters related to Mass.--- Manage
promotions calendar for Mass.--- Manage monthly stock control and
forward to supervisor for review--- Work with Senior VP to
coordinate weekly mass meetings--- Manage monthly mass report to
management with supervisor's review and approval PI230018398
