For many of our customers, we have--been the Flatbread Partner--that has--helped to create some of America's most--exciting, and delicious,--sandwiches and pizzas.In recent years we introduced Brooklyn Bred Since 1930, a retail brand for our retail products which include Pizza Crusts, Bistro Buns, Soft Bread Sticks, Focaccia and more.-- With the start up of our Clifton Bakery, we hope to expand our product line to include sweet and savory baked goods, snacks, culinary offerings.--We are an SQF Level 3 company--that currently employs over 400--people, some who have been with us for more than 40 years. ----We are a company that thrives to "Bake a Difference and--Make a Difference" for its customers,----suppliers, communities and employees. --For the past--six consecutive years we have been named one of "New Jersey's Best Places to Work".--We are seeking a self-directed, team-building CORPORATE SAFETY MANAGER to help us continue our growth.----CORE COMPETENCIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:---- Ability to multiple tasks fairly and efficiently-- Ability to assume responsibility, display initiative, and exercise good judgment.-- Completion of Blood Borne Pathogen Training-- Completion of OSHA required training.-- Knowledge of MSDS chemical safety and OSHA requirements for record keeping.-- Maintain confidential information regarding employees.--JOB FUNCTIONS:Be the LEADER of our Occupational Safety Committee, and all Occupational Safety Programs and PoliciesPerform routine walkthrough inspections of facilities to assure compliance to safety standards.Assure compliance with OSHAProvide ongoing Safety Trainng to all employees'On the Floor'-- presence duing Sanitation days'Hands on' liason with Maintenance as it relates to Safety of Personnel and EquipmentPerform yearly safety audit in consultation with emergency service providers and insurance agentPerform yearly site safety employee reviewInvestigate job related work injuries and incidents and comply with insurance company recommendations regarding reduction in workforce injury ratesAdvise management and Human Resources on status of investigations, any ongoing issues and give recommendations for corrective action, to include additional safety training--Computer Skills RequiredBilingual/Spanish a Plus--All RESUMES with references should be emailed. ----
