WEEKEND NIGHT THERAPISTS NEEDED

The Phoenix Center for Rehab & Pediatrics is a 227 bed skilled nursing facility located in Haskell, NJ. We are looking for devoted and caring Part-Time Respiratory Therapists to work weekends 7 PM - 7 AM Shift.

This is the perfect position for someone who is ready to take on a new and exciting role and whose available schedule is limited to weekends.

Our Respiratory Therapists examine, diagnose, and treat our residents with respiratory and cardiopulmonary diseases.

Responsibilities as a Respiratory Therapist:

Interview and examine residents with breathing difficulties
Consult with doctors and nursing staff to develop and modify resident treatment plan
Perform physical examinations and diagnostic tests to measure lung capacity
Use equipment to administer oxygen to the resident to assist with breathing
Connect residents who cannot breathe to a ventilator
Educate residents on how to use the equipment and medication
Monitor a resident's response to medication and alter when needed
Regularly check on residents and equipment

Requirements for a Respiratory Therapist

Must have BLS
Must be a RRT
Pediatric experience preferred
Must be patient and sensitive to resident needs
Must be able to work every weekend
Must be fully vaccinated for Covid
