Job Description:
A physician practice affiliated with a hospital in Rockland is
currently seeking a licensed Urologist to join their growing team!
About the opportunity: Setting: 75% outpatient, 25% inpatient On
Call: Call rotated among team of urologists Responsibilities: The
Urologist will: Conduct thorough medical histories and physical
examinations; listen to and discuss patients' symptoms and concerns
related to the urinary and reproductive systems Order and interpret
diagnostic tests such as blood tests, urine tests, imaging studies
(ultrasound, CT scans, MRI), and urodynamic studies to diagnose
conditions Prescribe medications to treat various urological
conditions, such as urinary tract infections, kidney stones, and
prostate issues Provide counseling and education to patients about
their conditions and treatment options Other duties, as needed
Qualifications: Licensed to practice medicine in the State of New
York Board Eligible / Certified in Urology
