Physician Assistant | Surgery - Vascular Location: New York Employer: Barton Associates Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: 3 days x 12 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position We are seeking an experienced Vascular Surgery Physician Assistant for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in New York. This full-time opportunity starts on Mar 9, 2026, and requires flexibility for 12-hour shifts with call, including days, nights, evenings, and weekends. Qualified candidates will have significant vascular and/or cardiac surgery experience and advanced procedural skills to support a high-acuity surgical team. Job Details Location: New York Start Date: Mar 9, 2026 LOA: 60 days Provider Type Needed: Vascular Surgery Physician Assistant Schedule: 12-hour shifts with call; varied schedule including days, nights, evenings, and weekends; full-time availability required Responsibilities and Duties Suture removal Diagnose and treat illnesses Order and interpret diagnostic tests Intraoperative first assisting Assist in surgery and removal of dialysis catheters Write prescriptions Coordination of care and rounding Pre-operative physical exams Additional Information Active NY state license required at time of submission NCCPA or ANCC/AANP certification required Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) certifications required No new graduates; must have vascular and/or cardiac surgery experience and medical management experience Self-Query NPDB report required within the month of submission Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
