Job Description Job Description Minimum 1 years Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist experience and ARRT certification required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This position is for an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist skilled in assisting with complex diagnostic and interventional vascular and neuro-interventional procedures. The role demands a strong technical background with floor and ceiling-mounted fluoroscopic equipment and the ability to operate power injection devices delivering iodinated contrast media. Attention to sterile technique and infection prevention, along with excellent communication skills using closed-loop communication, are essential to support collaborative multidisciplinary teams including nurses, radiologists, and vascular surgeons. Key Responsibilities: Assist proceduralists during complex vascular and neuro-interventional cases, scrubbing side-by-side. Identify, retrieve, and circulate specialized products during procedures. Operate fluoroscopic imaging equipment and power injection devices. Maintain sterile technique and prepare procedural trays. Manage groin site care post-intervention. Document procedures accurately in electronic medical records and send images to Sectra/PACS systems. Provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications and Experience: Current NJ state licensure with ARRT certification required. 3-5 years of experience as an Interventional Radiologic Technologist or Cardiovascular Technologist with radiographic licensure. BLS certification from an approved American Heart Association source or equivalent. Knowledge of fluoroscopic modalities and skills comparable to a cardiovascular technologist but must hold radiographic licensure.
