Job Description:
Gifted Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and skilled Travel LTAC
(Long Term Acute Care) Registered Nurse (RN) for an assignment in
Rochelle Park, New Jersey. This position is ideal for a passionate
caregiver who is eager to make a significant impact on patient care
in a long-term acute care setting. The selected candidate will join
a dynamic healthcare team and work in a supportive environment that
emphasizes quality care and professional growth. Provide direct
nursing care in a long-term acute care setting according to
established policies and procedures. Participate in patient care
conferences, medical rounds, and updating patient records.
Administer medications, document therapeutic responses, and
communicate significant changes to attending doctor. Plan and
evaluate patient care interventions with the healthcare team.
Educate patients and families on disease processes,
medical-surgical procedures and other aspects of therapeutic
regimens. Manage patient transitions between units and monitor for
signs of condition changes. Expertise in long-term patient care,
acute care nursing, and patient/family education. Strong
proficiency in electronic medical record systems. Exceptional
abilities in patient assessment and time management. Proven skills
in critical thinking and problem-solving in high pressure
environments. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance
Life Insurance 401k Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the
state of New Jersey. BLS/ACLS certification required.
