Job Description: We need experienced backend developers to work on a critical partner integration related initiatives, which involves complex build within the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) platform. The AEM Platform is a critical part of the Acquisitions and Marketing technology eco-system within Apply, serving our existing and future customers and co - brand partners.



AEM integrates with our Apply Core architecture and has a combination of dash boards, workflows, internal and external APls I microservices. This role requires

a combination of AEM specific knowledge as well as Java skill set typical of large Enterprise Services senior developers including SAP, Salesforce, BPM - Pega, ECM - Filenet, OpenText - we are targeting a combination of Java and AEM niche skills. We need at least 5+ years of experience in a backend developer to work on our critical partner initiatives, and to enhance the integration points between AEM and the Apply core orchestration engine and its critical modules.

AEM Developer

GENERAL FUNCTION:

Designs and implements software solutions focused on the Adobe Experience Manager product as a member of an agile squad. Being assigned to an agile squad means this role also participates in all agile ceremonies driving activities from design to delivery.

Follows best practices and standards and participates in communities of practice to continuously refine and document these standards. This position will be expected to partner closely with front-end developers and designers to take designs from concept to production-ready web experiences.

Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank's risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintaining high coding standards and practices.
Design and implement Adobe Experience Manager solutions.
Building and extending AEM core components, custom components, and content fragment models.
Prepare proposals and time estimates for future work
Schedules work to meet completion dates and technical specifications.
Assist in deploying applications to Dev, QA, Production environment.
Work collaboratively with other teams; QA, UX, etc.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED:

7+ years in J2EE programming experience required.
At least 5+ years of software development experience in AEM demonstrating depth of technical understanding within AEM Sites, Assets, and Workflows.
Expertise of Adobe Experience Manager v6.5, AEM as a Cloud Service and understanding Cloud Manager.
Solid experience with AEM building blocks including editable templates, components, dialogs, widgets, experience fragments and content fragments.
Good expertise in OSGi Services/Components, Apache Sightly (HTL), Sling Models, GraphQL and AEM core components
Experience with Java Content Repository (API) and Sling web framework.
Strong knowledge of Java and Web technologies
Good practical experience with HTML, CSS and Java Script frameworks
Familiar with AEM DevOps best practices.
Knowledge of version control tools, especially Git.
Expertise in dispatcher and CDN caching strategies.
Experience with testing at all levels: unit, integration, functional and performance
Knowledge and experience in developing software using agile methodologies.
AEM Developer certification preferred.
