Job Description Job Description We are working with a global law
firm that seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Senior
Paralegal to join their team. The Senior Paralegal will play a
pivotal role in supporting attorneys by managing complex cases,
conducting legal research, and ensuring the smooth operation of
legal proceedings. This role requires exceptional organizational
skills, the ability to handle high-pressure situations, and a
strong commitment to professionalism and confidentiality. Key
Responsibilities : Assist in managing case files from initiation to
resolution, including maintaining comprehensive and organized
documentation. Monitor and manage case deadlines, ensuring timely
completion of filings and other deliverables. Conduct in-depth
legal research using various resources, including statutes, case
law, and regulations. Draft legal documents such as pleadings,
motions, contracts, and correspondence for attorney review. Serve
as a point of contact for clients, witnesses, and external parties,
maintaining clear and professional communication. Prepare clients
and witnesses for depositions, hearings, and trials. Organize and
maintain case files, both electronically and physically, ensuring
compliance with internal protocols. Support attorneys in trial
preparation, including assembling exhibits, evidence, and trial
binders. Stay updated on legal trends and changes in laws or
regulations relevant to the firm’s practice areas. Ensure all
activities comply with legal, ethical, and firm-specific standards.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior paralegals or legal
assistants, fostering their professional growth. Qualifications and
Skills : Bachelor’s degree in legal studies, criminal justice, or a
related field. A paralegal certification from an accredited
institution is preferred. Minimum of 10 years of experience as a
paralegal. Proficiency in legal research tools (e.g., Westlaw,
LexisNexis) and case management software. Strong drafting,
analytical, and organizational skills. Excellent interpersonal and
communication abilities. Demonstrated ability to work both
independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. High
level of discretion and confidentiality.
