As a CDL-A Local Driver, you will handle critical day-to-day operations ensuring that goods are delivered safely, efficiently, and on time. Supporting major regional routes, this role is pivotal in upholding our reputation for exceptional service standards and delivery accuracy. Safely operate a tractor-trailer to conduct local deliveries across specific routes. Load and unload cargo, ensuring all deliveries are accurate and free of damage. Perform vehicle inspections before and after trips, and report any issues or concerns. Maintain strict adherence to delivery schedules and route guidance to ensure timely deliveries. Comply with all DOT regulations as well as company safety policies and procedures. Keep accurate logs of all delivery activities using the provided technology systems. Communicate effectively with dispatch and management to guarantee smooth operation and immediate issue resolution. Proficient in operating GPS and other navigation systems. Strong time management and route management skills. Effective communication and problem-solving abilities. Physical ability to load and unload heavy shipments.
