Safely operate a tractor-trailer/truck to transport goods, materials, or equipment to and from specified destinations. Prepare, receive, and provide appropriate documentation for the delivery or pick up of goods to ensure timely service. Maintain contact with dispatch to receive instructions or be dispatched to new locations. Keep the vehicle clean and in good operating condition and follow the company?s protocol for regular maintenance and servicing. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations at all times. Report any incidents, accidents, or safety concerns to the dispatcher or supervisor immediately. Manage routes and routines to effectively maximize fuel efficiency and time. Strong time management and customer service skills. Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly. Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations. Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc.). No recent moving or driving violations.
