This position is for the Swallowing Center at St. Joseph's
Health. The applicant will be responsible for determining the
differential diagnosis of adults with dysphagia disorders in the
acute care setting. Inpatient and outpatient services are provided.
Experience in MBS and/or FEES preferred. Plans and administer
dysphagia therapy to patients in addition to counseling patients
and/or families (guardian) regarding patient's disorder. Writes
evaluation and treatment reports. Maintains current knowledge of
regulatory/legislative policies as apply to the profession of
Speech Pathology and adheres to same.
Work requires a current NJ State License in Speech-Language
Pathology, CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence in
Speech-Language Pathology) required, NJ Department of Education
Certification as Speech-Language Specialist and CPR certified
