Job Description:

The Security Systems Specialist will assist the Security Systems Manager in the maintenance and administration of all security systems and technology on an enterprise-wide basis to include access control, CCTV, alarms, visitor management, and other security related systems. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assist in the planning, development, testing, implementation, and deployment of security technology.
• Assist in overseeing the installation, maintenance and upgrade the physical security hardware and technology using both in-house and contract resources.
• Support acceptance testing of new systems and compliance audits of legacy systems.
• Direct contract staff in the audit of all deployed security systems to ensure operation and integrity.
• Collaborate with IT/Network staff to ensure the physical security technologies are operating within guidelines.
• Attend Training courses, and peer and manufacturer events to stay current on the latest security hardware, systems, software, and technologies.
• Collaborate with vendors for security-related projects.
• Conduct assessments of deployed security equipment.
