The team elevates knowledge and understanding of organizational changes and structures within CTI, ensures awareness of technology strategies across CTI and Citi, and drives user adoption through change management and impactful technology marketing.In CTI, we are focused on delivering the best for our clients, and we know that to do this we need a talented team with diverse experiences, backgrounds and skills.A critical element of our Transformation is ensuring that we have the necessary tools to plan, execute and ultimately bring transparency to the transformation initiatives at Citi. The Technology Tooling Team under CTI Data Services is looking for a Technical Project Management Lead who will oversee initiatives in the Tooling landscape end to end, enabling the clear definition and delivery of solutions and enhancements. The Project Management Lead is a strategic professional who closely follows latest trends in own field and adapts them for application within their own job and the business a liaison between Product owners and technologists to exchange information in a concise, logical and understandable way in coordination with the Technology Team. Excellent communication skills are required to bring key stakeholders together to define requirements and negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Developed communication and inter-personal skills are required to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Accountable for significant direct business results or authoritative advice regarding the operations of the business. Necessitates a degree of responsibility over technical and delivery strategy. Responsible for handling staff management issues, including resource management and allocation of work within the team/projectResponsibilities:

  • Responsible for the management of significant projects may manage a department, product or process with a large amount of independence.
  • Identifies stakeholders and key organizations and build and manage relationships with each.
  • Directs the creation of multiple projects of work and manage their alignment to business goals.
  • Leads the facilitation, coordination, and arbitration of cross-functional macro level topics within/across projects and with Senior Management.
  • Leads the identification and drive resolution of issues, including those outside established projects of work.
  • Works with stakeholders to ensure project scope definition meets business objectives.
  • Works with Project Sponsor to ensure business case/cost benefit analysis is in line with business objectives.
  • Drives adherence to project processes, procedures, methods, and standards for project delivery and leverage across the project.
  • Assists project team in negotiating for resources owned by other departments in order ensure the project can be completed.
  • Directs the communication of status, issue, and risk disposition to all stakeholders, including senior management, on a timely basis.
  • Directs the identification of risks which impact project delivery and ensure mitigation strategies are developed and executed when necessary.
  • Develops and exercises business plans, policies and procedures and may also be responsible for various projects to improve efficiencies.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.Qualifications:
    • 10+ years of experience in a technology-oriented environment
    • Technical expert and known internally and externally as reliable, knowledgeable resources
    • Clear understanding of the firm's different businesses and the related economics.
      • Demonstrated a consistent track record having worked as a Project Manager, Lead, PMO or department head, managing teams and large, strategic cross-functional projects. Experience working in the Risk enable function.
      • Expert in building teams and work with customers to understand needs and describe solutions.
      • 10+ years of experience leading teams of data professionals.
      • Expert in identifying issues and problems, generate solutions and choose appropriate alternatives using basic root cause analysis.
      • Stays abreast of current industry trends and new technology through professional associations, trade journals, networking, and associated training and seminars.
      • 10+ years of hands-on experience with architecture and implementation of data warehouse, ETL solutions, and emerging design.
      • 7+ years of experience with big data platforms, Microsoft Azure technologies and server-less environment.
      • 7+ years of Agile practical experience.
      • 6+ years of experience with logical and physical data modeling.
      • Proficient in MS Office applications, MS Teams, SharePoint, JIRA, Confluence, Collaborate, VISIO, Tableau and data analytics.
      • Scrum, Design Thinking, PMP certification preferred.
      • CAPM, PMP, PgMP and/or MBA are a plusEducation:
