Job Description:

The Compliance Officer will be responsible for assisting the Compliance Program Director in managing the risks associated with federal and state banking laws and regulations associated with the Partner Banking department which enables the automation of money movement for scaled businesses. The Compliance officer is responsible for managing a comprehensive compliance program to ensure third parties are compliant. The Compliance Officer interacts with third party bank partners and counterparts in internal audit, legal, and external regulators as applicable. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Develop and maintain current knowledge of bank regulations.
• Prepare and lead monitoring programs for UDAAP, Regulation DD, Regulation E, Regulation P.
• Review and analyze advertising materials. Perform research to determine what regulations are impacted and decide if the materials are compliant. Provide approval on advertising materials to banking partners.
• Review complaints received by third party business partners and evaluate the reasonableness and timeliness of responses. Work closely with the bank's Fair. Banking Team to ensure all compliants are accounted for in the Bank's compliant database.
• Assist in managing Regulatory Compliance Examinations as they pertain to Partner Banking.
• May be required to conduct senior management presentations in conjunction with the Compliance Program Director and/or Chief Compliance Officer.
• May be required to assist on special projects. Other Responsibilities:
  • Comply with all regulations pertaining to BSA, USA PATRIOT ACT, and OFAC. Complete annual BSA training. Report suspicions of criminal activity, or any attempt to avoid BSA reporting requirements on the part of customers or employees, to the AML/BSA Compliance Department. For supervisory positions, ensure BSA training requirements are completed by staff.
  • Perform other job duties as deemed necessary by supervisor.
