In this role you will:
The Treatment Peer will provide the following services for persons who use opioids and/or stimulants: Bridge transitions from hospital inpatient services and emergency rooms, the criminal justice system, homeless shelters and OASAS residential programs to addiction treatment at OASAS certified outpatient programs in the CASN Network.
What qualifications do you need?
Applicants can be a fully-certified or provisional Certified Recovery Peer Advocate (CRPA) or be highly motivated to train as a CRPA (trainees). Trainees will be expected to provide supportive services as described above under supervision while they are in training and are eligible to have their certification expenses paid by a grant.
