Responsibilities of the Radiologic Technologist

• Responsible for the operation and performance of medical imaging procedures for the patient
• Must demonstrate satisfactory completion of formal training in an approved school of radiologic technology
• Call patients to schedule them when orders are faxed to the department
• Responsible for appropriate insurance authorizations and medical necessity for various exams
• Night shift 10 pm-6 am or 2 pm-10 pm
• Salary starting at $25 + DOE Requirements of the Radiologic Technologist
  • Current NYS License as a Radiologic Technologist required
  • ARRT Certification
  • Associate's degree in Radiology or related
  • BLS required
