This role is vital in providing top-quality, patient-centered care and is perfect for someone with a strong desire to make a positive impact on people's health. As a Permanent Hygienist, you will be responsible for providing preventive and therapeutic oral care to help patients maintain their oral health. Conducting initial patient screenings, including assessment of oral health conditions, oral cancer screening, and head and neck inspection.2. Taking dental radiographs and reviewing them for signs of oral diseases such as decay and periodontal disease.3. Providing preventive dental care such as cleaning (prophylaxis), scaling, root planning, and applying sealants or fluorides.4. Educating patients on good oral hygiene techniques, including proper brushing, flossing, and nutritional guidance.5. Developing and implementing individualized dental hygiene care plans based on patient's oral health needs.6. Assisting in the management of medical and dental emergencies.7. Collaborating with dentists to plan and provide optimal patient treatment.8. Documenting patient care and treatment plans accurately in patient records.9. Staying up-to-date with the latest industry developments, techniques, and best practices in dental hygiene.10. Ensuring strict compliance with infection control procedures and protocols.Qualifications:1. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited institution.2. Must possess a valid license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.3. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Dental Hygienist or a similar role.4. Proficient in dental software and Microsoft Office Suite.5. Excellent knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and protocols.6. Exceptional patient service skills and ability to explain dental procedures and techniques clearly.7. Strong manual dexterity and physical stamina to perform intricate procedures.8. Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate with colleagues.9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.10. Passionate about patient education and preventive care.11.
