This role calls for a professional with a strong understanding of manual machining processes, equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting.Responsibilities:As a Permanent Manual Machinist, your duties will include but are not limited to:1. Reading and interpreting blueprints to understand the specifications and requirements of a project.2. Operating various machinery including lathes, mills, and grinders to produce or modify parts.3. Using precision measurement tools to ensure products meet exact specifications.4. Maintaining and troubleshooting machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.5. Applying your knowledge of metalworking techniques to create high-quality products.6. Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.7. Collaborating with the team to improve production processes and enhance product quality.8. Performing routine maintenance on equipment to ensure longevity and optimal performance.Qualifications:The ideal candidate for the Permanent Manual Machinist role should possess the following qualifications:1. A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.2. Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints.3. Extensive experience in manual machining, including lathe and mill operation.4. Proficient in using precision measurement tools.5. Demonstrated ability to perform routine equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.6. A solid understanding of metalworking techniques.7. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.8. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.9. Strong commitment to adhering to safety protocols and procedures.10. High school diploma or equivalent.
