Overnight Electric Pallet Jack Operator - Retention Bonus Available Schedule: Sunday through Thursday shift starts at 4pm . Shifts end when orders are complete , end time can vary . Overtime is mandatory. Requirements: Perform all pre-shift duties including warm up and safety checks on all equipment. Work in multi-temperature areas as assigned. Meet weekly standards for productivity and accuracy while working in a safe manner. Performs various post-shift duties that could include: Clearing aisles of all debris, returning pallet jack to charging area. Stacks empty pallets from slots in aisle. Clean up any spills and places damaged product in recoup area. Completes any related paperwork. Attend all required company meetings and adhere to all safety practices and company policies. Must satisfactorily complete all company mandated trainings and assessments. Education/Training: High School Education or GED preferred. Related Experience/Requirements: Minimum one-year recent experience in highly physical, labor intensive warehouse selection position. Minimum six months experience with warehouse material handling equipment (electric pallet jack or high low) preferred. Extensive experience operating Standup Forklifts required. Voice selection software experience preferred. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Must be able to read alpha and numeric codes from pick sheets and slots. Must be team oriented and able to get along with others. Qualificattions: Must have experience with PE4500 stand up double electric pallet jack Prior selecting/warehouse experience preferred. Must be physically able to work in the freezer and in the cooler. Must be able to repeatedly lift more than 50 pounds throughout a shift. Selectors pick using batch method, voice selection software and labels. All orders are selected using electric double pallet jacks. You must pass an equipment test and become certified in order to work as an overnight selector. Compensation: $18 an hour Incentive: After training, all selectors are expected to meet standards to achieve incentive pay Retention bonus: We offer a $1100 retention bonus over the span of 1st year of employment (must meet attendance requirements and work safely).
