An in-depth knowledge of electrical systems, troubleshooting and repairs is required. Will follow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices and report noncompliance when observed. In addition, the candidate will observe all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriate.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOBRegular inspection, troubleshooting and repairs of electrical and mechanical production equipment throughout the facilityDetecting malfunctions and defects in electrical and mechanical systems on all automation equipmentEnsuring the compliance of all corporate policies and the Occupational Safety and health administration rules (OSHA) while conducting work functionsMaintaining a record of service cycles and other maintenance activities conductedEfficiently managing time and completing all tasks assigned by the supervisory authorityReporting damages, defects and other issues pertaining to electrical and mechanical units to the supervising managerDocumenting spare and replacement parts required and completing all necessary documentation for the sameAppropriately using and handling all electrical repair and testing tools and equipmentFollow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices and report noncompliance when observedObserve all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriateOther duties as assignedSchedule: Thursday, 12:00PM - 4:00PM, Friday through Sunday 6:30AM - 7:00PMCompensation: $22.00 - $25.00 per hourStatus: Non-ExemptBenefits:401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insurance#IND123Requirements:EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Minimum of 3+ years' experience in-depth electrical and mechanical experienceProficient in working with voltages from 24 volts to 480 volts, (Single, and three phase)AVG (Automated Guided Vehicle) or LVG (Laser Guided Vehicle) experienceKnowledge of working with HMI'sAbility to work independentlyProficient in Preventative Maintenance tasks and servicesAutomation experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentShould have excellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to effectively manage time and meet all specified deadlinesSound understanding of using all electrical testing equipmentAbility to use efficiently various power and hand toolsAbility to operate a forkliftShould follow oral or written instructionsTeam mindsetAbility to establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationshipsHigh School Diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of experience and educationAbility to stand, walk, bend, extend, reach, and twist for long periods of timeReq Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision-FSA/HSA programs available-401K with matching program-Vacation and sick time-Friendly and Open-Door cultureby Jobble
